DESCRIPTION:
Who is Eliot Kleinberg James I read this book and found it to be a joke. It does nothing but make fun of Florida and Floridians. This author seems to just throw things together and call it a book. I gave the book to the local library (in Florida) and they asked who Eliot Kleinberg was and wanted to have Charlie Carlson's Wierd Florida book instead. But between Charlie Carlson's Wierd Florida and Eliot Kleinberg's fateful attempt I would have to give away Kleinberg's Wierd Florida and keep Charlie Carlson's Wierd Florida since you never throw away quality. I did find Carlson's Wierd Florida very interest. truthful A Customer i grew up in florida, and i opened this book up and it was right to a page with a story that I personally know is true. pg. 165- port st. lucie story. brought back really bad memories. if youre from florida, and you heard about a crazy scandal, chances it will be here. oh- check out page 129- used to work with that sicko- another port st. lucie story. yikes.. Reasons why Florida isn't the paradise it's alleged to be. A Customer This is a great book for anyone who has ever vacationed in Florida. Whenever someone thinks Florida is the haven of the leisure class and playground of the rich, they only need read this tome. This shows just what a mosquito-filled muck hole, sand-flea infested, white-trash flooded, odd-ball inhabited place Florida really is. It made me glad I didn't live there. Really funny. I know why the "Magic Kingdom" is in Orlando, Florida right along with all the other weird, abnormal and off-the-wall kooks in that swampland of a penninsula. Thanks, but I'll take Manhattan.
This book chronicles examples of Florida's fascinating and funny weirdness.
