The killer changes looks entirely. Author Gary C. King doesn't hold back in describing the killer's crimes. This book was hardcore, but insightful at the same time. Readers will be able to see inside the mind of a deranged monster. This deserves more than 5 stars. I will certainly read much more from this Author.. To Die For: Another great true crime novel by the master, Gary C. King! You know what's scary about True Crime stories? They're true. Gary C. King is a master storyteller in the True Crime genre and his novel, "To Die For" is certainly no exception.As always, King puts the reader directly into the heart of the action of the novel that explores the deplorable acts of sociopathic killer, Darren Dee O'Neall, as he slithers through the Pacific Northwest raping, maiming and killing. King's third person narrative places the reader in a verbal vista where the acts and thoughts of the victims, police and O'Neall himself are seemingly right before their eyes and in their heads, which is not always a . "CREEPY!!" according to vmumm_55. This guy is an animal! It made me sick how easily he found lonely women just looking for a nice guy, good company, and go home. This guy was a predator and would slice your head off just for a used car!! He is really creepy! I know sooo many women of the age range he zoned in on and it scares me to think how normal these serial killers appear to be! Lock your doors before you read this one!! The writing style was good, kept me turning the pages hoping he was going to get caught soon!
