Very well written as are all of Mrs. Burke's books. But I have to say, I have mixed feelings about the heroine. While she is entitled to her feelings, she often came off as callous, whiny, and selfish. And it fit the story. It's what her character calls for. The ending left me a little disappoint. Everything was going according to plan until the day he walked into her office looking to rent a cabin. She’s never forgotten the man she had the fling with in Hawaii but by his reaction, he doesn’t recall her in the slightest.
