Service Catalog meets Project Management Not a bad book, but I would say the emphasis seems to be a project management approach to developing a SC. The problem I had with this book is that it really doesn't address the mechanics of actually building a SC. The author is quite creative in defining services (an IT system is not a service). Wouldn't be so bad if I could get a used book much cheaper, but $50+ is too much to pay for this. I really didn't get much out of it.

Anyone who is working in (or about to work in) the area of service portfolio management and service catalogue management should have this book on their desk. It details not only the technical but also business service catalogs, it explains the differences and why we need them both.
