However I found the heroine so trying (and can I say childish) with her constant lies. It made me wonder why such a strong hero would gravitate toward her the way he did. She lied to him, to her own brother, . Her loyalties seemed to drift back and fourth, and it was just getting frustrating when I reached mid-book only to find the same misunderstanding STILL remained between the hero and heroine. It seemed . A Viking Romance to Skip This is the first by Mathis I have read. (It may be her only book; I couldn't find more by her.)
