One of the finest works of accessible Biblical theology I've ever read Jeff Nine One of the finest works of accessible Biblical theology I've ever read. Joshua does not shrink back from the most pressing cultural questions of our day, but rather pushes into the middle of them, pointing us to the beautiful, rooted, historic orthodox faith of the Church with a heart of compassion and full faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.I highly recommend this book for anyone who is skeptical towards Christianity, is wanting to better understand the historic Christian faith, or is wanting to see more and more. I love this author I love this author. Just when you think you know the basics of the core tenets of Christian doctrine Butler gives you some new angles. My only complaint is that's it's written at a low level (feels like his target audience was 8th graders based on vocabulary choices and the informal narrative style). But although he may not have the prose of a Dallas Willard, his content is still great. It's definitely worth getting. His Skeletons book was a bit more novel and interesting to me, but this book is valuable. Lots of s. Five Stars Incredibly clear perspective on God's pursuit of His people!
