Amazon Customer said What happened to the strong female lead?. I typically love Ava Miles. This book fell flat for me. I didn't love either of the main characters. Their relationship was over the top cheesy. The female main character was a virgin because of her beliefsbut then she kept apologizing for it and acting like it was so . A Promise of Rainbows Mountain Girl The 4th book in the series deals with PTSD. With the condition finally being acknowledged, the subject is truthfully handled. Jake is suffering badly, almost to the point of suicide. Susannah is his salvation with her steadfast love. Since I am a Christian, I accepted . "Great reads" according to Tina. I started reading this series when I found the first book in one of the many book clubs I belong to. After the first one I couldn't wait to read the next and so on.
