Five Stars Ross Jordan I like the musical background and think I would like it too, without.. Great companion audio bible to daily reading This is a great audio bible. This mp3 3-dics set contains both the Old and New Testament. I wanted to purchase the cd version of this set, but it was very hard to find for a reasonable price; as a result, I purchased the mp3 version.I will admit, as other reviewers stated, the constantly changing music was a bit much at firstbut eventually, I forget about the music, if I would have meditated and dwelt on the music as being a problem throughout the listening of the chapters, it could have become one. But I don't think the music alone should be a reason for someone not to purchase this set, in fact, young teens may thoro. ANACHRONISTIC BOB said ncv audio bible. I like the NCV very much. I always read it with my NASB open beside it. The audio voice is very good and at a good rate of speed. Now the negatives. The obnoxious drum type beat in the background is very distracting. The term words "contemporary" and "music" do not belong in the same sentence. This would be a great audio if it didn't have the background distractions.
