The presentation is just a lecture without practical demostration of how to coach a student with learning disabilities.The only good point of this video is that it clearly lists out the reminders for learning disability researchers and specialists in regard of how to enhance motivation of these students.. "Mr. Lavoie does it again!" according to M. Deschanel. Rick Lavoie continues to display his knack for making us aware of things that SHOULD be obvious to adults, but somehow need highlighting, so we can help our kids with reasonable expectations, fairness and honor. This book taught me, amongst other things, that what I thought would motivate my young daughter (based on what motivates me) couldn't be farther from the truth. Book is full of methods of analyzing what works, and how to best support your child. Thank you Rick!
