"Great Book!" according to Y. Eun Ji. I bought this for my 2 year old last summer. I'm still reading this one. Cute, creative, interactive(can play along). My son always goes diving under the blankets or behind my wife when I read pretending he is scared. My second favorite right behind "Russell the Sheep".. Anna said clovis the cutiepie!. She is now 19 months and simply adores it. She insists that I read it to her every night. She refers to it as "Covis" and loves the part when the animals creep up behind Clovis while he's having a drink. She stands up on the bed an creeps while shhhshing with her finger against her mouth just like the ape does. It's too funny! I guess what I like about this book is that it has got a great lesson in it and it imparts it so well to kids. Love it!. months. She is now 19 months and simply adores it. He loves to sneak up on the animals and startle them with the "roaringest" roar in the world. This title is appropriate both for group sharing and one-on-one reading. From School Library Journal PreSchool-Grade 3-The jungle is usually a peaceful place but not when Clovis, a small tiger, is around. One day, while he is sipping at a stream, the animals turn the tables and join in a cacophonous clamor that jolts him right up a tree. A truce is declared and the jungle settles down in peace again-well, "most of the time."
