Through a very stressful time in my life, years ago, I know these books about this gentle and sweet vet and his collection of animals and warm stories, pulled me through. I used to turn to them when I had terrible stress in my life and I could totally relax. I now keep several of them in my Kindle just to have some. More in the life of the Yorkshire vet to enjoy his family, patients, and life. I read the first 3 books (should say devoured! ) when I was a young girl. I desperately wanted to be a veterinarian! Sadly, that never hapoened. But was able to live vicariously through his books. Imagine my surprise when I found out he had written more!.
