She shows how difficult upbringing and circumstances within life can be turned around with love and family. I love how she writes her characters that you are always sad to say goodbye to them. These are no exception. I wanted to go down the street to this restaurant and meet the sisters and the parents and everyone in this book. You feel the bonds and the anguish. SUCH a good read! Cynthia L Olds I've read all of Cathy lamb's books to date and this is one of her best. The story has just enough intrigue and mystery to keep you going and the characters are real.
