DESCRIPTION:
Scott B. Hancock said Mixes commentary with original text!. I bought this expecting just the book Euclid wrote. But it immediately intertwines references to Euclid in the third person, with modern language "interpreting" (not just translating the language) what Euclid "meant". Many judgmental statements are interspersed. I don't understand why this is not clearly labeled as a commentary or "guide".. David K. Murphy said Geometry book without diagrams. The text of this book constantly refers to diagrams which are not shown. How can you have a book about Geometry without diagrams? This book would not be a good buy if it were free. I didn't want to give it any stars but that was not an option.
