Great Writing, At Last! "By the time they stopped that night, the rain had abated somewhat. But it did not cease. Likewise, the sun never properly set. Robbed of its glory by the day's grimness, it could manage no grand descent. Montgomery does an excellent job of giving the reader a thoughtful and exciting read. It is hard to put down once you begin. In the day and age of 'Twilight' and other vampire/occult fantasy novels, 'The Dark Faith' sticks out as it does not blur the distinctions between good and evil (I should say it is not a vampire novel). The main character Moromus, is a rigorous defender of truth and light, and is a wonderful role model for young men and women.. Great first book!
