"Wonderful little handbook -" according to sam. Glasser takes the basic elements of his Control Theory and fits these in with Deming. Some very very common sense approaches to management. Management involves people most of all, and Glasser's approach is focused on people. This little book is one that a manager should keep on his desk for a careful read and a re-read. Common sense approaches to working with people t. GShaw said Worth the read. Every boss or 'wanna be' should read this book. It does a good job of differentiating between 'bosses' and 'leaders.' Too bad corporate America didn't have this 50 years ago.The only complaint I would have is that the title is a little misleading. Some may skip the book based upon the use of the word 'control' in the title.I have read many leadership books over the ye. Out of date and out of relevance Chika Tierney I loved his book on Control Theory and was hoping for more of the same, but it appears he has moved away from quality and toward some misguided mass media appeal.It was almost as bad as Choice Theory.
