There are charts for every tune, along with transcriptions of the main groove, as well as transcriptions of several variations the drummer can add to the main groove. I am currently reading Zoro's book "The Big Gig" and it is the best book I have read on the music business. It is clearly written and Zoro's positive attitude shines throughout the entire book.
