I have been reading the Charlotte and Thomas Pitt novels for many years. The evolution of Pitt's career has been interesting, keeping the series from becoming stale. I love that he is not perfect, has doubts, and relies on the advice of others - it makes him more human. I do wish Charlotte could be more involved.
