owlet said Same book?. Reading the glowing reviews above, I wonder if I read the same book they did. I found this very disappointing. It had the possibility for being a very good read; the premise was intriguing, the murder was plotted out neatly. But Ms. Huber failed utterly in two critical respects. This book was so full of anachronisms that it could not be salvaged; did the author do any research at all, I wonder? (My favorite was Lady Darby bemoaning the invasion of her "personal space"in 1830really?) It's the small details that make a story and characters bel.
