"a transforming book" according to Kate Turner. I have read a lot of books in the "self help" section. This is beyond such a category. It's a well written book about the connection with the soul and the flushing of the Ego. It's a well written book about the connection with the soul and the flushing of the Ego. I spent 21 days excitedly jumping out of bed at 6:30am to read a passage and write in my journal. It effected my day tremendously. The days I had to work hard on expelling my past were dark, but once I got through the 11th day my days have been bright. I've already seen relationships change. I'm more productive. It's my second day since it ended and I still jump out of bed (not a morning person btw), I. 0am to read a passage and write in my journal. It effected my day tremendously. Day 3 was very difficult to do, but I feel like a mountain fell off my back! The only thing that I feel was a let down was the day on Forgiveness. That could have been a deeper, more thought provoking exercise. That could have had a meditation on how to forgive others AND oneself, bu. Unrealistic Much of what is written in here is pretty unrealistic. In order to a cleanse as spelled out in the book, one would have to take a vacation to the middle of no where. Good attempt but not realistic for people who still have lives with jobs, children and other activities to manage.
