Poems that make you feel lighter than Janice L. DAgostino a lovely book of poems with nifty simple drawings that help set the mood for each reflective piece. I've a few faves that I find myself returning to, a few lines that really struck me. Love the poem entitled Aerie and the lines: "The need to feel, to soar on hollowed bones, To be lighter than." When I read that I feel myself lightening as if ready to fly.

I traveled through Iowa, not stopping even for a burger. I am a co-CEO of a small holding. Bast, the cat Goddess, reigns, clawing poetic snippets out when I'd rather She left me alone. And sometimes poetry worms its way out of those rocks and sagebrush. Currently I am stationed in the arid side of Washington state. My husband and I take prybars to rocks in the garden and hope for rain. I do have a certificate in Veterinarian Assistant but found that to be more of a burden than a help.
