It is 385 pages of smaller-than-normal print, and yet I couldn't put this series down. It is very well-written and has a good mix of emotions flowing throughout the book.On a side note, I would recommend this series for an audience above 16 years of age. The main character is a woman who marries a stranger 'out west' around civil war times only to realize the man is very abusive and heartless. Sh. 85 pages of smaller-than-normal print, and yet I couldn't put this series down. It is very well-written and has a good mix of emotions flowing throughout the book.On a side note, I would recommend this series for an audience above 16 years of age.
