The characters that the protagonist Elliot Serlin chooses to help him, make strange, but funny and loyal bedfellows. I encountered so many things that I didn't expect with this book like gui. "Summer or Winter, this is a great read." according to Fred Miller. Summer or Winter, this is a great read. It combines the best elements of mystery, guilt, self-realization, larceny, and a good dose of sexiness, All these are wrapped in a smart first-person story about a middle-aged married guy facing a disastrous financial future. Elliot, with a little help from his Dominican weight-lifting buddy, grows a giant pair of cojones and launches a scheme to save the day, the marriage, the future and make a few bucks while he's at it. "Stealing A Summer's Afternoon" is full of surprising, make-you-smile turns and Elliot's thought processes are something we can all identify with and la

Sidransky's novel is fast-paced, well-written, and downright enjoyable, while still boldly and frankly emphasizing how depressingly important money is in today's society. ( )." - Red City Review .
