"So-so" according to Tad. Wallis was a soulless cheerless Jewish business man, with few friends. And it reads like it.. Markku Ojanen said Wallis was really a starmaker. Starmaker is a wery well written book with the help of Charles Hingham. He knows the film business, because he was the old time producer who had a lot to say about the film. The list of films he produced is just stupendous. It is difficult to find anyone else with a similar list. He seemed to like everybody except Shirley MacLaine, who did not appreciate what Wallis did for her. One gets a lot of interesting data about making . "Five Stars" according to sarah hundt. Nice stories of the stars esp Martin and Kewis
