"meh, I'll settle." according to HappySax. I played this piece before, but I loaned it from my music college's library. Now that I'm performing it for my recital, I decided to buy it here on Amazon. I wouldn't recommend this, I would buy sheet music from sheet music sites or stores. When this came in the mail, it had a cover for a completely different piece (some quartet thing) and the music itself was faded, the ink is barely visible, so I know the accompanist won't be too happy. At sheet music stores, they'll look over the quality before sending it right away, like Amazon. I'm naturally a passive guy, so I'll settle for this produ. "Sonata for Tenor Saxophone and Piano by James Di Pasquale" according to NWB. This is a somewhat aggressive piece in three movements and is a great exercise in articulation and dynamics. The first movement extends into the altissimo range to a G and A, while the second movement challenges the performer with the lowest B flat sustained at a ppp dynamic marking. The third movement is similar in style to the first. Although not a melodic piece overall, taking as a whole, there are some segments that give the opportunity for expression. Although the first movement is my favorite, I like the low dark sound created by the lower register of the horn combined with the deep b
