A Whimsical Bowel of Mac and Asparagus HappyGoBunny The Tales of Big and Little is a fantastic and whimsical series about two dogs that love cheese-which is quite funny-rescuing our world and ending Shir of Lee (Shirlee) forever. This is a book I certainly recommend for children and adults. It's funny and has a very realistic fantasy feel. For example, the Macaronians. They are macaroni and they fight giant asparagus. The author used real items such as candy and pizza crust, and left your imagination to figure out how a pizza crust would walk and wonder if Shirlee's favorite drink is a Shirley Temple. It's funny and a wonderful book to read before bed. I lov. Great children's story I got this book to read to my grandson. He loves the adventures and he loves dogs, so this was an easy choice. His reading level is beginner so I read the stories to him that he would not tackle on his own. This story has lots of silly catches blended into a classic tale of good vs. evil. For example, the Army of Darkness supports a cat with super powers with regiments of slimy moss, garbage monsters, ninja pizza crusts, and already-been-chewed gum that comes to life.
