A. Beauregard said Good resource for a salt unit study. We did a unit study bout set and this book was helpful. Some parts of the book had more detail than necessary and it broke up the flow of the book. Tons of information and an excellent resource. It just had some areas that could have been organized better.. lavender said salt is a mineral. This is very excellent nonfiction book about salt. It tells about the early production of salt and how salt has been produce over time. It tells about why salt is important for the human body and what salt can be used for. It does not have much information about the elements that make up salt or salt science.
