If this book is properly studied, and you use other teaching sources to really understand the alternate tunings and chord shapes used in these songs you can really open up the fret board in a special way with the use of this book. I also recommend the Hal Leonard Chuck Berry Tab book as a good primer for the songs in this book. With. Does include guitar tab Amazon Customer One review of this book stated there was no tab included, while others said there was tab. Just to set the record straight--there is tab. I've only looked at Brown Sugar in detail so far but all the guitar parts are included and the tab appears accurate. On some of the rhythm guitar parts there is simply a rhythm figure shown with chords and tuning rather than tabbing each note of the chord, but when the guitars are doing more than playing rhythm, the parts are tabbed.A lot of the songs are going to have at least one guitar part in
