Five Stars Davie Well-written, interesting and builds confidence because they are decodable.. Good Sight-word readers I bought this book for my kindergarten classroom. I was hoping that they contained decodable text (where students sound out words using short vowel sounds at level A). Instead it has many common high-frequency words and picture clues as the text. One example is, "I will have a" and a picture of a "band" for the last word. These would be good for kids who need practi.
