This clicking acts as a metronome to help you keep your beat. This is a useful tool to help people learn keep their beat thoughout new songs. I rather enjoyed using this book with the play along Cds. Besides, if the clicking annoys you soo bad, just plug in a Pink Floyd album and play along with that. I recommend this. Hope this he. "annoying Hihat click through all tracks" according to Drummie.
