Story and pictures are great! Love the book - however the used copy we got was not in good condition. Almost every page had been ripped up and taped back together again - very disappointed :(. Besides an abstract picture of a tree trunk with a caterpillar and a purple, turquoise, and white/translucent dragonfly, the unnamed narrator informs us: "This tree was here when we moved in."
