"Only for one software" according to Amy Fulton. If you have the software that this book guides you through, it would probably be better. But she also only goes over a few things. I was expecting some more in-depth tips/tricks. She really just tells you how to do a few things in one program.. "Good Basics" according to ebpierce. Just what it says, basics. Good starting place. Easy to read and understand and prepares you for the next step.
