Keeping a vow Just 3 1/2 stars for "Not Mine to Give". From beginning to end, this story revolves around a vow made by the heroine, lady Katherine Downing. Laird Duncan Ferguson, her unexpected husband and the books hero, spends the entire book trying to coerce Kate into giving the subject of that vow, a crown, t. Storyline with a twist Geralyn C Dries Story was interesting,too much running away and getting found.. She's done it again I've never written a review for a book before, but I had to for this one. Laura's books always put the H/h in an impossible situation and I wonder how Ms. Landon is going to pull off a 'happily ever after'. She did it again this time. I sobbed through the last several chapters of this book. So glad
