It is the diary of Myra Inman, who lived in Cleveland, Tennessee, during the Civil War. Another reviewer pointed out that Miss Inman writes about sewing and such things. That is true--she is more interested in sewing tucks in her chemise than she is in skirmishes. She doesn't even specify which units were involved in local actions. It would be nice if she went into detail about such things. However, for anyone whose Civil War project is specifically about Cleveland, Tennessee or any of the surrounding towns, it is pretty useful.
