B—Because your steadfast love is betterthan life, my lips will praise you. Psalm 63:3The Psalms teach us to praise God as they talk about how great God really is! This colorfully illustrated children’s book presents a verse from Psalms alongside each letter of the alphabet with an engaging story—helping kids to memorize verses from the Psalms, learn their ABCs, grow in their relationship with God, and understand why God is worthy of our worship.
Heather Thieneman said Hard to Relate. This book takes "Hard to Relate" according to Heather Thieneman. This book takes 26 verses showcasing the letters of the alphabet and illustrates them in daily life through a family consisting of Mom and Dad and kids, Missy and Bill. For each verse there is a story and then some talking points and something to pray about. I found the stories a bit cheesy and the family too perfect and unbelievable. I also was unsure how well the stories really helped to explain the verses. Sometimes I felt that the truth got lost in the story instead of being illuminated by the story. I confess I didn’t read the whole book but only read about five random sections.. 6 verses showcasing the letters of the alphabet and illustrates them in daily life through a family consisting of Mom and Dad and kids, Missy and Bill. A great preschool devotional tool On this adventure through the Psalms, with two of my favorite authors, your child will learn about our great God and why He is worthy of our worship and praise. On each page a verse from the Psalms is given to represent a letter of the alphabet. The verse is accompanied by a short story about Bill, Missy and their family that teaches and illustrates the verse. Your child will love the beautiful illustrations as well as the adventures of Missy and Bill. The verses are simple enough for your child to memorize and if they memorize all the verses presented they will have Psalm 100 hidden in their hearts!Posit.
