Husband loves em. kimchee Bought the 3 different books (green, yellow, pink) for my husband. He loves them! They have some pretty hip songs in these books. He's learning how to play the bass guitar and plays almost every day. Great buy!. "book good, CD not so much." according to architectonic. I bought this as a companion to the publisher's book "Bass Method Complete Edition" so I'd have some songs I know to play along with. The selection of 20 songs is great. But skip the CD - the recorded tracks are not the original recordings (I'm sure the licensing of the originals would have cost way too much), instead they are covers by a studio band. A jazzy saxophone plays all the vocals and melo. "50 States" Tim said Time to have more fun.. This book is just like the first book in the series, lot of fun tunes to play along with. Even though I only play (like) about half the tunes, I gave a good rating because these CDs really make practicing fun. What more can I say?
