Known for carefully conceived grid plans and frequent use of white, Richard Meier is a master of light and space, able to adapt his style to very different circumstances and locations. From the early days as a member of the New York Five, Richard Meier has been a central figure in contemporary architecture in the United States. This spectacular monograph displays Meier's work in unprecedented size and brilliance, and features a preface by the noted Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza.. With the Getty Center and more recent buildings such as the Jubilee Church in Rome, the New Yorker has cemented his reputation as a truly international figure who has expanded the horizons of contemporary American architecture while maintaining his rigorous approach to design and detailing. The entire span of Meier's career, right up to his most recent designs for New York and Shenzhen, is included in this exceptional volume, created in close collabo
"Richard Meier , Complete Works" according to bill boswell. This is a very large book with excellant photos of Meier's work. It also includes some very current work; like housing in Venice Italy. Plans of all the projects are also printed in high resolution.. The Untimate Satisfaction I have always wanted to find architectural books of this quality. This book deserves a Nobel Prize in the "could not be any better" category. It is definitely one of, if notTHE best example of an architectural book that illustrates the complete works of an architect with excellent presentation and superb quality of sketches, images, and architectural drawings on a large scale and size of paper. This book is ultimately a must-buy book and an asset to every architect.. Amazing book!
