DESCRIPTION:
I really liked this book DoxieMama3318 I really liked this book. I thought it offered a good, in-depth study in the psychosocial needs of kids and gave insight into caring for kids in medical settings. Good handbook for social workers and Child life specialists.. Child Life Practice MK Great Book! Lots of valuable information for those entering/continuing the field of child life, or are other healthcare professionals working with pediatric patients, and their families. There are somethings you have to take a critical eye to, so don't take everything necessarily as Best practice. It certainly is a solid f. Hannah Horspool said Good for Child Life Specialist Preparation. Good textbook. This book was required for a prep class for Child Life Specialists. I found it interesting, though I did not read it in its entirety.
