A new author worth following! Angela Allen I love historical fiction and am always looking for a promising new writer to bring me strong, well-developed, and believable characters set against a tapestry of historical figures and events. I want to be able to believe that these fictional characters could have been unknown threads in the fabric of our history, not appare. Woodsever said What a great book!. I never would have expected such an interesting, sensational book by reading the synopsis and seeing the cover only. I am completely and pleasantly surprised to discover a very well written book with an amazing plot filled with historical events and characters.This is truly a great beginning to a series which I cannot wait to. Slow going at first but keep reading I almost stopped reading this book as it started out slow for me. I stopped reading it and read two other books before I came back to this one. I'm glad I did now. The storyline and characters grew on me as I got more into the book. I like smart, strong female lead characters and Beth is all of that. I did figure out who was
