"Excellent adaption of Manchette's story with superb art" according to Sean Harrington. The artwork is terrific; the artist's use of different color palettes in different scenes to change the mood of the scenes is expertly done, and faces and poses are expressive and realistic. Manchette's typically blunt yet nuanced narrative is adapted quite smoothly, and I enjoyed reading this book immensely. Highly recommended for fans of noir crime fiction and art.
