When I signed up for the class that required me to read this book I expected to learn about information systems, not the latest trends and the authors opinions on them. Yes, I know that there is no way to completely protect an MIS book from becoming outdated, but when a big portion of the book talks about iPhones and twitter it. Circa_1986 said Professors, Stop Requiring Kroenke for your Classes!! TERRIBLE. Kroenke writes in an informal, lackadaisical way. It's more like a magazine article than a college textbook.
