It has a lot of fun rhymes, interesting food vocabulary, and the pictures are colorful and funny. I think it is interesting to see what happens to Ma Mac Donald.. It is a take-off on “Old MacDonald had a Farm.” The pages are filled with clever rhymes and startling colorful pictures. Ma MacDonald has a restaurant on her farm with lots and lots of delicious dishes. The animals also think so, so they get into every dish and are under-foot. Children will delight s. It's a play on "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" that gets more and more frenetic as more and more animals invade the scene, each making a mess of a food item whose name sounds in some way like the animal's.
