good reference guide, useful forms Cotton This book offers specific information about Pennsylvania landlord/tenant laws. Since each state has specific laws regarding what is permissible in terms of contracts, evictions, payments, etc., I found that this was a book that addressed these topics. It may not be as good as hiring a lawyer, but it' s a good start to see if you are on the right track and how to start to handle any problems that arise. I am a landlord, but there is a lot of useful information if you are a tenant. Pre-written forms are helpful.. Excellent reference book to walk you through things such as evictions or security deposit issues I started in the rental property business back in 2003 and this was a book I stumbled upon along the way. I read this and used this to guide me in how I structure my leases, handle evictions, etc, etc, etc. I learned how much security deposit you can ask for and how long you can keep it and other little nuggets of knowledge from this book. I have used this book ensure that I abide by the rule of law and to help tenants out when they have had issues with other landlords. I don't have any patience for shady operators who try to take advantage of people and over the years I have found myself quoting PA Landlord Tenant Act specifics from t. Five Stars Mitchal G. Miller Lots of useful info we needed to deal with our problem tenants!
The new edition of Landlord's Legal Guide in Pennsylvania is a practical, well-organized manual designed to provide landlords with valuable legal information.
