Additionally, Iseminger pays attention to the less concrete problems presented by security, performance, scalability, and ongoing network management. Different from other NT networking books in its practical approach, this guide explains how to build networks based on Windows NT. This book is more welcoming to the nonexpert reader, as Iseminger always takes the money constraints of a small business into consideration when he suggests purchasing any equipment. Iseminger begins with network planning, emphasizing that the decisions you make at the physical layer and topology stages will have huge relevance in the future. Remote networking receives plenty of coverage, as does the construction and operation of heterogeneous networks that include
