The writing style took a while to adjust to and all the Tarot cards, "New Age" witchery I would have passed on. But none of the other reviews mentioned it.Played well on Text-To-Speech. "Great second book in series." according to Amanda W. Really enjoyed reading the second book, in the Cookbook Nook mystery series. The characters are a lot of fun to spend some time with and I loved the setting for this series.The story and the two mysteries in the book were very entertaining and kept me guessing until the end of the book. I am thinking, the mystery based around Jenna and her dead husband isn't quite finished yet.I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.. Inherit The Word Gram Tess The 2nd book in the Cookbook Nook series is very good. I find myself thoroughly invested in the characters. I get angry when they are hurt and I laugh with them at their joy and happiness. As always, I find myself wishing that I knew such people as Jenna, Aunt Vera and Bailey. The antics that go on in the bookstore are truly believable, and find myself looking for their counterparts in the bookstores I visit. But, unfortunately, I guess they only live in the pages of
