Beautiful and inspiring The book has beautiful illustrations and very touching and inspirational messages, quotes, etc. on each page. It was given to me as a gift and I love it! It will be something I treasure through my life.. "Too much light!!!" according to bananaman. In many ways this is a nice book, but in this one Kincade went overboard with the idea of being the "painter of light." Nice little homey scenes of wintry cottages with smoke rising from the chimneys, etc., are ruined by Kincade's lack of subtlety. EVERY SINGLE WINDOW in every little home is lit up with blinding light. One glowing window would have me imagining someone in there nestled .
