Great Work on Social Media Conversation Beckham Publications Group, Inc. (Consignment) As a writer-publisher, I found a number of valuable new thinking about social media marketing in Marc Charles' guide. He talks about conversation. Yes, he is referring to advertising copy, but the strategy has value for all of us who communicate. He reminds us that you should carry on a genuine conversation with readers. The most important part of a conversation is the exchange of ideas. And the most powerful conversations are one-on-one, declares Charles. So when we talk or write. "Good, but something is missing" according to Destination Infinity. I liked this book. It gave me more than a couple of ideas about building email lists/memberships. His 'having a conversation with the customer, instead of to the customer' is sound advise, which many marketers seem to be missing. The resource section and references throughout the book would be useful to many. His real-life references on how many marketers messed up with their list-building strategy is plenty and eye-opening.But the title, 'How to build' is slightly misleading. N
