Pretty Good for Studying Japanese I read this book after going through the Japanese reader series. It's a fun story and helpful for working on reading comprehension skills. The text shows the Japanese, the English translation and the Romanji. The English translation is the first block of text for each passage, but I would have preferred the Japanese to be first. This is because I want to test my Japanese comprehension skills, but I end up accidentally sneaking a peek at the English translation from time to time. But I suppose Japanese fluent readers trying to study English would be happy with the current arrangement. The book has cute illustrations that enliven the. Great read for young children!
