Great Halloween Reading Osie Turner This is an interesting and largely forgotten Victorian ghost story. Sometimes, when reading a 19th century literature, you forget it was written so long ago; that is not the case here. Not that that's a bad thing. The story begins in a somewhat banal fashion, but. However, if you like the good old-fashioned ghost stories you will enjoy the stories from the various authors contained in this book. Some are quite predictable . "Excellent horror/suspense story" according to Daniel D. Miller. steady, suspenseful story that just keeps building and building right to the end I kept thinking it was being predictable, but I was always wrong!!
