Great Halloween Reading Osie Turner This is an interesting and largely forgotten Victorian ghost story. Sometimes, when reading a 19th century literature, you forget it was written so long ago; that is not the case here. Not that that's a bad thing. The story begins in a somewhat banal fashion, but. "Good Old-Fashioned Ghost Stories" according to SuperStepMommy. If you are looking for scare your pants off stories or blood and gore, this book will not be for you. However, if you like the good old-fashioned ghost stories you will enjoy the stories from the various authors contained in this book. Some are quite predictable . "Excellent horror/suspense story" according to Daniel D. Miller. steady, suspenseful story that just keeps building and building right to the end I kept thinking it was being predictable, but I was always wrong!!
