Outstanding James Harvey Shelby Foote was featured in Ken Burns Civil War Series. He really made the series come to life. Without his comments much would have been lost. I am thankful that Ken Burns found Shelby Foote. A southern gentleman that had strong feelings for his native land and knew how to express them.
