DESCRIPTION:
Rudolph Binion is the Leff Families Professor of Modern European History at Brandeis University, and is the author of "Frau Lou: Nietzsche's Wayward Disciple, Hitler Among the Germans", and "After Christianity".
Fascinating but for the Freudian stuff The story of this woman is fascinating. This biography is as well researched as any you'll find. If you don't like the angle (Freudian) or the patronizing tone, you will still appreciate the story of the woman who rejected Nietzsche, abandoned Rilke, hung out with Tolstoy and spent her last years in Freud's inner circle. Why isn't there a movie?
